Kentucky Black Pride is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization: 82-4176691. Established in December 2016, under the leadership of Shawn Ka'Ron Bumpase. Our mission is to promote unity, pride, self-awareness and positive visibility within Kentucky's QTPOC community. Our goal is to improve the lives of QTPOC around central Kentucky serving Lexington (surrounding counties), Frankfort, Louisville and Covington. We are proud to provide you with a annual pride festival in Lexington every 3rd weekend of September.

UK Office for LGBTQ & Kentucky Black Pride will host a panel of discussion featuring members of the TQPOC community in observation of Trans Awareness Week. Come here the struggles, challenges and achievements from this community.

Monthly Board Meeting

In observation of World AIDS Day, join us at Castlewood Community Center on December 6, 2024, from 7:00 PM -9:00 PM.
Come experience "Game Night", we will play the nonprofit edition of Family Feud. There will be games planned for all ages, music, food and FREE anonymous HIV & Syphilis Testing. KNOW YOUR STATUS!!!
